my review of the ordinary

The Ordinary, described as “Clinical Formulations with Integrity” on their website, is a brand that I was intrigued about for awhile. I had seen a lot of Youtube beauty bloggers rave about their products and pricing and so after going on a video bender

white sundresses for spring

Forget your LBDs, little white dresses are going to be where it’s at this Spring. They feel light, bright and refreshing after a Winter of dark wash jeans and chunky knits. And they don’t have to be as plain as my barefooted version in Florida!

sucker for seersucker

I love stripes! They are a great way to add a little fun to an outfit. I find myself continuously reaching for them, no matter the occasion. Think dark for Autumn/Winter and light for Spring/Summer. Navy and white might be my favourite combo ever, however. It evokes a nautical feeling but in that effortless way that everyone is constantly hoping to perfect. I think of warm breezy days when I see the perfect navy stripe, and who doesn’t want that?!

Another thing I love? Embroidery! I find it can make a top look more expensive than it is and it adds a boho feel while adding detail to an outfit. This top was a no brainer because it combined both!

For this outfit I am wearing a blouse from Topshop (Size US4 – runs a tiiiny bit small), cutoffs from Zara (US4, TTS), sunglasses from Kate Spade, a straw hat from ASOS, and mules from ASOS.
