There is something so seriously fun about fringe. I love the movement it gives an outfit, especially when it’s long and silky like on this floral batwing cardigan. You just can’t help twirling around, or shimmying to a song when wearing it. And that’s amazing! When the clothes you’re wearing make you happy, that’s truly a win. This cardigan always puts me in a good mood and I think that’s truly remarkable.

I feel as though there’s a misconception out there that if you pass a certain threshold of caring about your clothes you’re materialistic and/or shallow. But I think you need to be in tune with what you’re putting on your body, because it can really affect how you’re feeling. Does anyone else get giddy when wearing something new for the first time? Surely I can’t be the only one. I can’t put my finger on why exactly, but I know it exists. It’s like that with this fringed cardigan. When I’m feeling mellow, or down, I always make sure to put myself in something I love wearing. Why? Because even if I’m mentally blue, I love what I’m wearing, and that usually helps getting myself out of my rut. And that can turn a bummer day into one where you’re twirling in the streets.
