my go-to summer look šŸŒž

Can you believe it’s almost June?! Well, if you take a step outside it might seem more real — it seems things went from Winter to Summer real quick! And when things get hot and sticky outside, I want easy, comfortable outfits. This is exactly

things i’m currently coveting for spring

Spring might juuust be my favourite season. The weather is getting warmer, the flowers are starting to come back, the birds are singing — things are literally abuzz once again! And with that comes Spring fashion. Which, granted, has been a little different for us

5 trends to try this Spring

Well, the flowers aren’t quite up yet but IĀ have heard some birds singing lately so I’m taking that as a sign – SpringĀ isĀ on her way, people!! I promise you it’ll get here eventually! Hopefully we’ve left the worst of Winter behind us, so in my mind it’s full steam ahead. And on that note, as you begin transitioning your wardrobe to lighter and brighter pieces, I wanted to highlight a few trends I’ve seen floating around Instagram’s fashion sphere in the off chance your wardrobe needs a little Spring refresher. Shop any of the looks below by clicking on the picture!

#1. Eye-spy tie dye. Yep, you read that right, the über groovy rainbow pattern is back! Now, if you’re anything like me, you’re probably looking to keep this one on the more subtle side. If you don’t want to bust out your moon boots quite yet, opt for something that only has one dominant colour in it.

2. Statement sleeves. Sleeves are bigger than ever this Spring! I find it the perfect time to wear them too, because something about Spring just makes me want to dress a little girlier, a little more romantic. Take your outfit from 0 – 100 with a dramatic sleeve real fast!

3. Cardigan craze. Forget wearing a cami under your cardigan, you don’t need it this Spring! Button it all up, or leave a few selectively undone – the choice is yours for this ultra cool girl look.

4. Pretty in pastels. This one tends to come back into rotation every Spring, but I’ve especially noticedĀ this year how many brands are rolling out clothes in soft hues of lavender, baby blue and pastel yellow. A guaranteed mood booster!

5. Vintage vibes. Think covered buttons, satin fabrics and Victorian-esque shapes, this Spring is going to be full of vintage inspired blouses. An ode to the ultra Tumblr girl, these blouses are all about that dreamy mood. Now all we need are the flowers!

what I’m packing for my bachelorette + vacation!

Hi guys! So as many of you already know, I’m headed to my Bachelorette in Las Vegas this weekend! We planned it with a big group so that the Thursday night and Friday night are girl only / boy only, and then on Saturday we

a review of Chicwish

So, as some of you saw on stories the other day, Chicwish reached out to me and asked if they sent me a few pieces, if I was interested in giving them a brand review. I said yes, picked out my favourite items, and here

same same, but different

Something new for you guys!

As someone who does this as a side hobby, I don’t always have the funds to buy new clothes every season. And I feel so bad whenever you guys ask where I got it and I have to say it’s a few seasons old. However, I frequently see things that are super similar, and so I thought I would do a new page where I could list items I come across that really remind me of what I have! I’ll be updating this page as I see things similar to what I have in my closet!

PS – If you ever see an item on my Instagram and want to know where it’s from, feel free to DM me! Sometimes comments get lost in my notifications but I promise I always respond to DMs!

While my exact top hasn’t been restocked in Lilac, they did come out with a White version with shorter sleeves!

Here’s a super close match to my linen midi dress. I love that button detail!

This top has a super similar cut, from the sweetheart neckline to the tiny puffed sleeves! Love!

Here is (what I think) an even prettier version of my satin tie dye dress I wore to a wedding last Summer! This is actually in my cart because I love it that much, and my other dress creases quite easily.

This is in the same colour family as my bikini, and I love the ruffle straps on this one!

love on yourself this valentine’s day

Just a little post rounding up some of my favourite things for Valentine’s Day! I know some people either love or hate this day because they think it’s overrated and overpriced. Ultimately, I really like the day of love. February 14th is in the dead

the best pink puffer jacket (currently on sale)!

So as many of you have seen on my Instagram feed, I am completely in love with this jacket. My mother bought it for me for Christmas off my Gift Guide For HerĀ (so sneaky!) and really, it was a home run for me. I haveĀ not
