things i’m currently coveting for spring

Spring might juuust be my favourite season. The weather is getting warmer, the flowers are starting to come back, the birds are singing — things are literally abuzz once again! And with that comes Spring fashion. Which, granted, has been a little different for us

a review of Chicwish

So, as some of you saw on stories the other day, Chicwish reached out to me and asked if they sent me a few pieces, if I was interested in giving them a brand review. I said yes, picked out my favourite items, and here

same same, but different

Something new for you guys!

As someone who does this as a side hobby, I don’t always have the funds to buy new clothes every season. And I feel so bad whenever you guys ask where I got it and I have to say it’s a few seasons old. However, I frequently see things that are super similar, and so I thought I would do a new page where I could list items I come across that really remind me of what I have! I’ll be updating this page as I see things similar to what I have in my closet!

PS – If you ever see an item on my Instagram and want to know where it’s from, feel free to DM me! Sometimes comments get lost in my notifications but I promise I always respond to DMs!

While my exact top hasn’t been restocked in Lilac, they did come out with a White version with shorter sleeves!

This is such a close match to my Zara maxi dress I wore in California! I looove the terracotta colour!

Here’s a super close match to my linen midi dress. I love that button detail!

This top has a super similar cut, from the sweetheart neckline to the tiny puffed sleeves! Love!

Here is (what I think) an even prettier version of my satin tie dye dress I wore to a wedding last Summer! This is actually in my cart because I love it that much, and my other dress creases quite easily.

This is in the same colour family as my bikini, and I love the ruffle straps on this one!

where I get my holiday dresses

If you know me at all, you know I love a good holiday party. Getting all dolled up, wearing something I don’t usually get to, sipping wine and chatting with friends is honestly my idea of the perfect date. Add in some seasonal shimmer and

leopard skirt love

So I recently featured this skirt on my Instagram feed and the love is REAL! If you were looking to try out the leopard print trend this Fall (and really, I’m not so sure it’s a trend anymore because I don’t see it going anywhere)

western vibes this fall

I always get super excited for warm weather because I find my style truly aligns and thrives in Summer. I love having a tan, having my hair lighter, and wearing things that I would best describe as summer girl cali chic. Even Kyle has commented before things like ‘wow, that really suits you’ and it’s usually something a little boho, a little flowy, girly and perfect for Summer.

Well, I think I’ve finally found my jam this Fall. And it’s still a little boho, a little flowy, but instead of Cali, I’m channeling Montana. Yup, western vibes are in this Fall and honestly, I’m here for it!

Give me all the suede boots, dark denim, wool hats and more. Think any and all looks from Hailey Bieber’s most recent Vogue shoot.

Below, I’ve linked my exact boots (I cannot recommend them ENOUGH), a hat super similar to mine, and several beautiful blouse options ranging from $30+. Happy shopping!

fall dress roundup

Fall dressing is so fun because there is truly a transition between warmer weather, where you can wear dresses and skirts with boots, and then cooler weather where you’re bundling up a bit more in big oversized sweaters and jeans. Today, we’ll be focusing on

little yellow summer dresses

Lemon-y yellow has been all over Instagram this Summer. And it makes sense. Something about wearing yellow is an instant mood booster! It’s also pretty flattering against a Summer tan. Like white, but just a tad bit softer. The key to wearing yellow is choosing

what I bought from the zara sale!

So — if you didn’t already assume, I don’t buy every single thing I link on my Zara sale favourites page. That would be, well, preposterous. But I don’t walk away completely unscathed. Here’s what I ended up buying:

Also important to note: if it’s not available in your size check back tomorrow morning, the warehouse usually does the restock early and they might restock in your size!

This top is SUPER cute and flattering! Bought in size S, runs completely true to size. Straps are adjustable which I love!

Also comes in White!

Super comfortable and easy to throw on! Bought in my usual 7 1/2  and fit perfect.

Soft, stretchy denim. Comfortable and perfect to tuck into boots in the Winter! Bought in size 4 and fit me great.

Bought this top in a S, it fits me perfectly but I don’t have a big chest either. I would size up if you do! You can adjust a tiny bit from how tight you tie it on either side.

Bought this skirt in an XS and fits me great but there is still a little room so I would say fits a tiny bit big.

These are SO pretty and delicate, and aren’t heavy at all!

This blouse fits a tiny bit oversized, bought in a size S and pretty flowy!

my bridesmaid boxes!!!

Well this is an exciting post! It’s something I’ve been holding onto for quite awhile, because I obviously couldn’t post this until I had asked my whole bridal party. And let me tell you — it’s HARD keeping a secret when you’re this excited to
